Referendum Information

Referendums allow Acadia students to vote directly on key issues that affect student life and how the ASU operates. Your participation helps shape future decisions and the direction of the Union.

As part of the 2026 Winter ASU General Elections, there will be three referendum questions on the ballot.

Before voting, take a moment to review each question and understand what a Yes or No vote means. Details for each question are provided below.

The SUB it's also a hub of student amenities. From the cozy Perkins Cafe and convenient Union Market to the inviting Axe Bar, there's something for everyone. Plus, Cajun's Acadia Gear Store offers students a chance to show off their school pride in style.

The Students Union Building (SUB) is also home to vital student services and organizations like the ASU Food Cupboard, The Ath, Axe Radio, Acadia Pride, Women's Centre, and Acadia Mental Health Initiative, providing support and resources for students when they need it most.
